Actually they seem worried that Belkast's source may have been outed. As in, perhaps the O's had a suspicion of who the leak was and tested it.

Gulp, hope not.

Yup...

Guys- I just got busted! My guy has read this board today and figured out my handle name. As of right now- I am no longer a insider. I hope things will cool down in the next couple of days but I will not be hearing anything else. I figured this would eventually happen and I guess I should have been more careful in my posts'. Hopefully I can get back into good standing sometime soon.

This got amusing.

If an NSBB thread ever needed to be derailed by a gif war or a rick roll, this is the one.

Anybody care to join my class action against Belkast for severely and unnecessarily decreasing workplace productivity among Cubs and O's fans and contributing to a downturn in ecomonic indicators for the Chicago and Baltimore metro areas?

Wow. What a disaster this thread has become. I wish Peace would come out and say something on the Orioles board. He's always the guy with the best info.

I would, but I can't say with a straight face that I would have actually got work done if I weren't refreshing these threads. I'm sure I would have found some other distraction.

I wonder if Hendry and Belkast are enjoying a scotch and chuckling while reading this?

Dude, Belkast IS Jim Hendry. It makes perfect sense. He buddy does run the team after all.

Which means that Hendry and MacPhail are enjoying a scotch while they slowly work out the Roberts trade that will be completed in February because everyone wants to let the steroid scandal die down a bit.

Hmmm...The rabbit hole just got a little deeper.

how does a Brian Roberts thread hit 63 pages?

Helps when every page somebody makes a post asking why this thread is so long.

Hmm good point.

i think i missed the part where brian roberts became a really good baseball player and not just slightly better than the guy we had playing second base last year.

You did miss that part, and also the part about the guy we had playing 2B last year not being able to repeat his production from last year.

Even if DeRosa repeats, Roberts is a superior player. Click me

True, but he'll be 33, hasn't replicated the power numbers he put up in 2006, and reached a new career high for OBP/IsoD last season. His career hasn't exactly been consistent, so I don't think it's safe to say that he'll repeat what he did last season.

With that said, I'm still not much of a fan of the rumored trade.

Checkout the 2009 Free Agents on MLBtraderumors.com...I think the guy hendry should go after is C.C Sabathia....Rotation would be sick with him in it...Would only be 29 or 30 I beleive? To bad he's not a FA this year.

With our luck.. He will get a 4 year extension.

Doubtful, the Indians are working on an extension right now with CC.
