Just nervous, not hammered. I don't like to get all crunk during big games.

I'm the same way. Pretty much all of my friends are either 1) at Arrowhead or 2) at a bar right now. I prefer to enjoy the game distraction free on my couch though. I'll probably have a few beers while I watch the Tigers win, but not a lot.

Nervous, eh? Not so confident in your Jayhawks?

i don't understand the "kansas' schedule sucks" argument from mizzou fans. if they beat mizzou, what difference does it make that they played a weaker schedule than mizzou? it doesn't make sense.

some idiot on some radio show said that mizzou should get to play for the national championship even if they lose to kansas and kansas wins the big 12 title game because mizzou played the tougher schedule.

The SOS argument won't matter after this game, you're right. I'm just using it to illustrate the point that they are overrated. Very overrated. I think I've posted this in this thread before, but...

Mizzou's opponent's record: 61-63 .492

kU's opponent's record: 47-75 .385

great. if missouri wins, it won't matter. what's the point in mizzou fans bitching about it now when this game will completely take care of it?

it's also faulty logic to assume they're not good because they've won every game on a soft schedule, but whatever. Like you said, it'll be irrelevant in about 18 minutes.

exactly. if they each had two losses or something, then, yeah, strength of schedule would matter. and i don't really know why mizzou gets credit for having ou on their schedule when they got beat by them.

this will be the first time i've seen either of these teams play this year

the only game ive seen was mizzou-illinois

that said, i'm going to lean kansas and mostly root for 12 overtimes and other such excitement.

nice block in the back by mizzou on the punt.

I really hate Missouri.(The state, the school, the concept, everything) But, I'm pretty sure I'm rooting for them in this game if just because I made fun of all the Missouri fans all last year about their gameday aspirations and brief BCS hopefulness. Plus, I really don't think Kansas is nearly as good, and I'd rather see the better team in the BCS bowl.

I'd just like to note that the three-letter chants (MIZ and ILL) are kind of dumb.

They're the same thing as "We are!" "ND!"

True. But that one has the advantage of not being the only chant we ever use.

In any case, Mizzou is owning Kansas right now.

To be fair to Illinois and Missouri, though, in a typical year they are really only using the cheer two or three times, so it doesn't get old.

Haha, is Mangino mentally handicapped? His answer to that last question made zero sense.

Mizzou just dominated that first half. Nice to see Tony Temple shining on the center stage.

Hahahahahaha, point taken.

C'mon Kansas, I want to see some excitement.

nice to see kansas playing like kansas

now the problem is everyone will think that missouri is good after this game.....and then see them get knocked off by OU setting up the inevitable Ohio State/WVU matchup......which are probably teams #8 and #9 in reality.

this year sucks

game's not over. besides, what do you care? You could just randomly pick whoever's in the NC game to be your new favorite team. That's how you started rooting for Florida.
