My only question is, why didn't Kansas try another onside kick after the safety? You are allowed to onside kick after that, and it was still a 1 possession game but they just gave up.

Gotta give credit to kU for fighting back. Down 28-7 early in the 4th quarter, and they didn't give up.

 

But Mizzou is clearly the better team. We're number one!

Eh, it's just habit at this point. Our student newspaper determined that the K in kU wasn't worthy of capitalization several years ago, and it just stuck.

Pretty sure Musberger is high on mushrooms during every game at this point in his career. At one point tonight he called the Big 12 the Big 10. If he can't root for Michigan or Ohio State, there's no point in him calling a game.

How can you do an onsides kick off a safety? Isn't it a punt?
