For those who still care.

-Said the catcher tomorrow will be Kendall.

-The power hitters are probably trying to do too much.

how many steals you think the dbacks get now? I say 4. Plus there goes one of the few guys I actually wanna see up with guys on base. I hope Lou retires soon.

I mean I know we are all but toast, but at least go down with our best. Soto is so much better than Kendall at this point it isn't even funny.

When was the most recent of those 33 plate appearances? Those are probably all Pittsburgh numbers.

wow...this is madness. bench the only guy that's had a clue at the plate for kendall, a guy who can't hit the ball out of the infield. also, hill is horrendous at holding runners and kendall is obviously horrible at throwing. tony clark might steal four bases. unreal.

One of these years we will accidentally hire a real manager. One that says, the hell with playing the veteran let's play the guy who gives us the best chance to win. It has been almost 100 years. We don't need anymore handicaps.

wait, i just figured it out. he wants soto to be rested for game 4, which is a day game after a night game. boy, between zambrano and soto, i don't know who is going to be fresher for the game they may not play!

that's a trick question -- they'll both be equally fresh

Have there been any complaints regarding Soto's game calling abilities? Maybe some of the pitchers don't like throwing to him behind the plate.

At least we will know that if the Cubs win Saturday's game that Soto was the problem all along.

Right up to the point where his career ended. Nice.

I'm predicting Hill throws a shutout and the Cubs win and Lou gets credit for going all veteran savvy and all.
