NLCS Tickets go on sale at 10 AM through tickets.com and over the phone on Thursday, October 4.

Looks like I'm out of luck.

The holiday weekend for the NLDS was the only reason I was able to get tickets - I don't think I'll get in the mix for the NLCS. However, if the Cubs play in another series after that...

So is this going to be the same as the NLDS w/ the Virtual waiting room and such?

Don't see why they would change it.

I'm not opening a bunch of VWR's at work, so looks like I'm out of luck. I might open one window and see if I hit the lottery, but I'm not counting on it.

This one is through tickets.com....wasn't the NLDS through the Cubs official website?

clearly a dumb question, but how does this work? what happens if a team doesn't make it to the next round or if the series is over after 4? are you just reserving the right to buy seats in the event there are games to be played?

I'm pretty sure it's the same as when they sold playoff tickets five days before clinching - you're buying the actual tickets, and in the event that you have seats to a game they don't end up playing, then refunds go out for all.

thanks .. that makes sense.

to those who have gotten tickets in the past, is one typically more successful over the phone or internet? any words of wisdom?

The one through the Cubs website was still through Tickets.com.

And I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to get to this one through the Cubs site. It wouldn't make any sense for there not to be a link just like before.

I might try, but I'm fairly certain I could end up divorced if I try to make a second Chicago trip in the same month. This being on a Thursday, I have to make the decision whether it's educationally beneficial for my students to learn the technology of VWR and what educational objectives can be derived from it and applied to a language arts class.

Hell, if you can't go, hook me up with those resources!

It doesn't look like the link will be put up tonight. Tomorrow morning, can someone post it for everyone else? Once the links go up on this page, just right-click and select "view source." When the source html comes up, hit control+f and search for "purchase.tickets.com," grab the url without the opentixxwindow code, and post it here. Or, if it's before the VWR starts, you can probably just click on the link, hit control+n, and grab the url from the address bar in the new window.

You can then just post that url into a bunch of windows. There will be separate links for each game, but it should matter because they all go to the same VWR. At least they did for the NLDS.

If you have an out of state #, do the phone.

Actually, thats the same as regular season tickets too. We're all stuck in one big VWR...Seth touched me.

Well you better start now...you'll be testing them on it in February, right?
