So, how many pitches do we let Z throw tonight, knowing that the playoffs (should) be right around the corner and we need him then.

OR is this one of those situations where we just do absolutely everything to win, including throwing Z 120.

I'd treat it like a normal start. Don't overthrow him, but there really isn't that much need to be overly conservative either.

I don't know about anybody else but I've started drinking...

happy drinking > sad drinking

GO CUBS

I'm ready to start. I'm waiting on the girlfriend to go to the store and buy some Jaeger, Red Bull, and Rum. It's gonna be a long night of heavy drinking!

last inning as far as im concerned.

I agree, he's taking a while to get thru this inning, and he leads off next inning.

Nice, I'm just going with some nice chill beer drinking tonight, I'll bust out the hard stuff in the clutch (or if the Padres take a lead :))

ENOUGH WITH THESE CRAP HITS.

If we had an SS with greater range, they wouldn't get through the infield.

As bad as the Riot has been for over a month, he really should be on the bench.

There is no SS in our organization with great range really anyway.

Cedeno (and Mota at high-A).

The pen is fairly fresh-- no need to overwork Z.

Play a game with the alcohol.

Turn on the Brewers game, on FSN Wisconsin, and when they either show an update (actual game or graphics) and/or talk about the Cubs' game, take a shot.

You'll be s*-faced after 15 minutes.
