Ordinarily, I'd agree, but I'd want him expanding with the worthless Ted Lilly on deck.

Even when it's a called third strike and results in your pitcher hitting with two men in scoring position with two outs? Huh? How do you not fault him?

 

This isn't directed at you but to everyone that is okay with him taking that pitch. If that's Jacque Jones and he takes that pitch, would you honestly give him a pass like you give to Soto? Be honest here. I'm guessing no.

And Hopper steals third without a throw or even a cover of the bag.

 

Pretty tough to stop the steal when you have the shift on against Griffey.

Yes, I would give anyone a pass there. Only a few guys like DeRosa and Kendall have the the bat control to foul it off.

Man, teams just run like crazy on us day in and day out.

 

Cubs have the shift on. Aram is basically playing SS right now. Pretty tough to defend a stolen base.

And it was a worthless stolen base, 2nd to 3rd with 2 outs, they were right to not cover.
