If you purchased 4 tickets split between 2 orders (2 and then 15 minutes later 2 again), will they cancel? It says you can purchase 1 order of up to 4 so technically I ordered 2 orders of a total of 4.

I'd call on Monday. Ticketmaster's ticket limits would be fine with that, but I'm not sure about the Cubs. However, they don't cancel both orders if you go over the limit for the regular season and I'd doubt they'd do that for the playoffs. At worst they should cancel your second order and let you keep the first. But give them a call on Monday.

So the person I talked to said that they will cancel one of my orders. Said he doesn't know which order and that they won't tell me which order. The only way to find out is to try using them or call the day before the game and then they might tell me. Damn...this sucks. If my 200 level seats get cancelled, I'm gonna be pissed.

They must be too busy right now, but it's pretty ridiculous. I'd try again tomorrow. Either way, though, the orders will have been processed by the end of the week, so there's no reason they wouldn't know by Monday.

Yeah, the guy seemed really rushed and not too helpful. I sent an email and I'll probably try calling again in a day or two.

had you been charged for them? I verified that my order when through over the phone today.

Yeah, I just checked and both sets of tickets were charged to my credit card. Hopefully it means I'm going to be allowed to keep both, but I doubt it. If I do get to keep both I already promised Vance a SRO ticket to game 3. There's still one ticket that someone can buy off me if they wanna go with Vance (once again provided I get to keep both sets)

Where exactly are you allowed to stand for for a SRO ticket?

Behind the 200 level, and half way up the ramp to the Upper Deck.

They check tickets for the UD and don't let you up there. Obviously nothing in the Bleachers.

Is it a decent view at any place?

I have no qualms with SRO, they are essentially the same view as 200 level seats.

80% of the way down the Right field line, the suites stop, so the view really opens up, much less limited view.

All the way in the Left and Right field corners, there are large areas behind sections 202 and 239 where the view is ok.

Of course bewtween the bases is closest to the action.

Handy tip, section 240 has a really wide aisle that borders the parks fence, People standing there are techinaclly not in SRO, but you have nothing in your war, and you are actually only about 10 rows deep into the 200 level. But again, you may get hassled by ushers (really depends)

I bought singles to both games because I was thinking of flying home from Tempe, but now after seeing what these are going for, I decided to just sell them and hopefully the Cubs end up playing the DBacks in the first round. I sold the ticket to the 2nd game, but I still have my ticket to the first game. I would prefer to sell it to an NSBB'er. Section 237 row 22. PM with offers

Playoff tickets should be coming from Fedex today, right? Anyone get theirs yet?
I was tempted to go that route in order to have the stubs, but I didn't want to risk any freak scenarios like a fed ex truck crash costing me my tickets, so i went with email.

Yeah, I'm hoping no such scenario happens in my case. My dad is going to want the ticket stubs, so I went with the Fedex route.

I hope they come in soon. Good luck.

Most of them were out for delivery yesterday. They require signatures, though, so I'll be picking mine up from FedEx after work today.

I don't like emailed tickets for two reasons: I like to keep ticket stubs (or the full ticket now that most places scan them) and they're harder to sell since some potential buyers don't trust them.

Crap. Looks like mine were supposed to be delivered today, but no one was home to sign for them. Guess I'll be making a trip up to Skokie tonight to pick them up. :wall:

You're just wasting the service charge if you buy them.

Cubs lose out, and this nightmare can end. I'm not sure if I can root for another Cubs team with Jones on it.

Fortunately, Howard and Crawford isn't that far out of the way on my drive home. They're open until 9, too.

No way I'm going to Skokie to get them tonight. Fedex can hold on to them for a little while. F U Cubs.

Huh?

What I'm saying is that we will miss the playoffs, and that Jacque Jones is singlehandedly nearly killing my joy in watching the cubs.

Love the sweep to a 60 win team today.

Lou is a horrid horrid manager, and he really showed it this week.
