Is Casey Dick really the best Arkansas can do? He's atrocious.

Doesn't help that their best receiver is hurt, and their second best receiver just broke his arm earlier this game.

USC putting this game out of hand in the first half, up 27-7.

Well, I like eating crow when it's a good thing.

I'm happy UK beat a good SEC team on the road and how they played the last 10 minutes, especially defensively. They still can't have the mistakes and turnovers.

Once Arkansas gets Monk back, unfort. injury to the #2 guy, they'll be fine. I was impressed by the pass defense, but they got handled by an inexperienced O-line against the run.

I hope Arkansas can get back into the top 25 by year's end.

Mizzou fans, you'll find out the start time of your game on Monday most likely.

ND/Purdue, BTW, will almost certainly be noon on ESPN. It was between that and a 3:30 ABC, but a battle of unbeatens between MSU and Wisconsin would have to take precedence.

I's going to take a 6 game winning streak to make that happen. Two gimmies, Auburn, Ole Miss, FIU, and South Carolina. if they do that and get to 6-2, they'll get back up there. May not matter with tennessee, MSU and LSU to finish the season.

Good job by Ball St., btw. It's a tough loss but a nice step.

Thanks. UK's my official semi-bandwagon team for the year. I always like seeing former doormats become forces to be reckoned with.

They should go 5-0 in their next 5. USC is at home after that, MSU is a win, UT will be a toss-up being in Knoxville, and LSU will prob. be a loss.

If they're 8-3/9-2 heading into LSU, they should be there.

UK is exceeding my expectations, with the tougher schedule, I expected a 7-5 type of year.

i thought UK was done after Dixon fumbled. the safety sure didn't help.

did dixon get hurt or something? i don't recall hearing the announcers say anything regarding him.

i've never been this excited for UK football. i'm usually waiting for basketball season to begin.

I think they benched him b/c of that fumble.

I was excited during the Air Raid, it was a fun team. I think this is better on paper though.

I wish I was back at Commonwealth for this.

Oh, I wasn't keeping track of what week you were talking about. Yeah, you'll find out by that Monday - it's possible you could find out sometime next week though. Monday would be the latest.

Aqib Talib (KU CB) with a 103 yrd INT return for a TD.

He's got some nice skills, I like him.

Of course I really like WRs and CBs like I like CFs in baseball. I'm weird.

He'd be front-runner for the Thorpe award if he played at a football school. If he continues to play well and we somehow scrape up 8-10 wins, he might have a shot at it anyway.

KU up 55-3

I like him a lot at the next level too, he should be a first rounder behind only Cason (Arizona) and Lowery (San Jose St.) in terms of corners next April.

it is now official. receivers can do anything they want to the dbs in the Big 10 and nothing will be called.

great catch, but about as blatant of pass interference as it gets.

i was much younger during the Tim Couch days. the only real memory i have is the loss to penn state in the outback bowl. i didn't follow UK's football program that closely back then, especially compared to basketball Tim Couch grew up about 30 minutes from me, though.

10-7 Iowa.

Humoring me for a second, if Iowa wins, the unbeaten Big Ten teams, one week into conference play, will be:

Purdue (wins: Toledo, E. Illinois, C. Michigan, Minnesota)

Ohio State (wins: Youngstown St, Akron, Washington, Northwestern)

Michigan State (no conference games yet) (wins: UAB, Bowling Green, Pitt, ND)

And that's it.

Geez.
