and man, Ping, that's a lot of defeatism considering there's an 8 point difference with 11 minutes to go.

NIU beats Idaho 42-35. Sad thing is they had a 35-7 lead and nearly choked yet again as Idaho recovered the onside kick. NIU's defense stepped up on the final drive to give the Huskies their 1st win of the year.

 

Yeah, Novak really needs to retire. NIU should easily be 3-1 but they have blown double digit leads to SIU, Eastern Michigan, and now Idaho. With Demetrius Jones next year, NIU should be the best team in the MAC. The team right now has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. The coaching is just uterrly horrible.

They haven't been able to establish a passing game, haven't been able to hold onto the ball, and too many penalties.

 

Don't take this the wrong way, Arkansas hasn't played well either, which frustrates me even more.

 

I want UK to take the next step, this game even by some comeback proves to me they might not be ready.

Have to say I've been VERY impressed with Michael Grant at corner. He moved there this week from free safety, and he's made a great difference. I think Norton will be a good corner, but the team is better off now with Grant there.
