Another concern for me is how invisible Hester was today.

He could have returned a few of those punts, I wonder if the Bears told him to not return anything.

My friend said that he heard on the radio that Brown's injury was called 'severe' is that correct?

No, they have no idea what the extent of the injury is.

They're kicking that ball straight up in the air and the Bears realized after the last kick-off that if you line up 2 KO return guys, they'll kick it away from him.

Game summary:

1) Piss poor play calling.

2) Turnovers galore.

3) Terrible O-line play for the most part.

Anything else?

Stout run defense.

Great, great hangtime on the punts, and spotty blocking on SD's gunners.

If that's the way it is, I'm fine with Devin not risking a turnover and just calling for a fair catch

Sounds exactly like the Super-Bowl.

I love the way Mike Brown plays, but he's just not reliable injury wise.

while it definitely is the boner prize of boner prizes, Buck and Aikman have called about the best game I have ever heard them call today.

aikman is generally a good announcer... now buck on the other hand...

Great games by Vasher (minus penalty) and Tillman.

Yeah, we can't hit with runners in scoring position.

Oh wait wrong sport.

I dont think Soul would have said anything had he just said the unbolded, but the bolded part to me sounds like rubbing it in our faces.

I can see, when taken out of context, how that can be seen as rubbing it in your faces. But it's certainly not. Someone made a comment about how LDT shouldnt have posed because he had a crappy day. I stated that he was essentially the entire offense today. Plus it was a big TD and he is generally known as not being a showoff; I don't think it was fair for people to criticize him for posing at the end of that play.

One would think that I've earned enough credit here as a good poster not to have to walk on eggshells here to avoid being called a troll.

I'm pretty sure that GB, MIN, and DET represent 3 tomato cans that SD will knock over with ease, so if the Bears can avoid making this into more than it really is, it will likely even itself out by year's end.

We didn't get blown out. I was actually kind of worried that Rex would toss 3 INTs and we would.

There were some good things here. It's just that the bad outweighs it.

Gates was essentially the offense except for one trick pass from LDT and a few small catches. I know LDT is your guy, but no need to give him more credit than he deserves.

Fair enough. Gates was on fire. But LDT had a hand in both of the scores; hence my statement.

Detroit takes the lead again. Looks like the Bears will be alone in last tomorrow.

With 16 weeks to go in the season and the Bears finishing up their toughest opponent of the regular season (and all 3 other teams have to play the Chargers), I don't care whatsoever.
