Pretty hard to watch when teams are just going to pound the outside against every hitter we have, then an ump comes along and decides to give them 2 feet off the plate to work with.

Lou should have come out and got in the ump's grille tonight. This is stupid. I don't care if the ump gives it to both teams, it's still just plain old NOT A STRIKE.

Yup, exactly. The Cubs are fighting for a playoff spot and getting screwed with a ridiculous strike zone, but the new Lou just sits there and takes it.

Why does even a known fiery manager become a teddy bear when he puts on Cubbie blue? Not saying he should blow up all the time, but Lou's never done this in his entire career. Why?

Disappointing. You ever think that the Braves got those calls because Bobby Cox was such a redass and got ejected all the time? I do.

I agree, I think it can definatly have an affect on an ump

I thought old people were supposed to be cranky.

I bet Wuertz walks Jackson... who wants a piece of the action??

How in the hell did Wuertz pitch that whole inning and we are only still down 3-1???

Well, fake rally time again. DeRosa singles; Murton singles-DeRo to 3rd; Jones Ks but wild pitch-DeRo scores & Murton to 2nd; Ward singles, Murton to 3rd, 1 out and tying run at 3rd; Theriot hits into the game-ending 5-4-3.

I dunno, but it seems like that 1 fiery Lou episode is all we are going to get. He said he was embarrassed big time by it.

Another bs call on DeRo Jesus
