I wanted to post this early because I am excited at the thought of Webb and his 42 straight scoreless innings going against the Brew Crew

 

Brewers (Suppan 4.89 ERA) @ Diamondbacks (Webb 2.63) - 8:40 CST

Marlins (Olsen 5.25) @ Cardinals (Looper 4.98) - 7:10 CST

 

NL Central Standings
Chicago     64-60 ---
Milwaukee   65-61 ---

I'm excited too. I wonder if the D-Bags will find a way to blow this one too.

If the Brewers beat Webb to sweep that series I'll be amazed...and doesn't STL just have to lose sometime soon (and FLA just have to win?)

Don't worry. Webb will throw 9 shutout innings, but the D'Backs pen will blow it in extras.

 

If Jeff Suppan and the Crew's bullpen doesn't give up any runs tonight I'll be amazed.

OML, the Rangers are beating the O's 27-3 in the ninth inning.... That's a football beatdown, so you KNOW that score has to be a baseball beatdown. Goodness.

 

 

 

edit: 30-3 now in the ninth!!

To give you a sense of how ridiculous Barry Bonds's 2001 season was, the Rangers slugged .860 for the entire game, still short of Bonds's 2001 slugging percentage: .863.
