Best thing about day games - and winning said day games - is it puts lots of pressure on MIL that night to keep pace.
It also gives me something to do other than pay attention in class. And then when they win, I have Go Cubs Go stuck in my head the rest of the day. When was the last time the Cubs had the division lead outright?

The last time the Cubs were in first place all by themselves was on April 28, 2004. The Cubs were 13-8 and 1 game ahead of the Reds who were 12-9.

Dunn and Griffey absolutely have DESTROYED Jeff Soupcan in their careers.

They both have 1.700 OPS vs him griffey flew out deep in his first at bat

Griffey should have cranked that pitch out.

Fatass hits into a double play, brewers get a leadoff single but no runs

On to the second! 1-0

Hopefully he doesn't sit out for getting suspended he's been solid on having errors and gidp's lately.
