It will be interesting to see what the corresponding 40-man roster move is. A lot depends on who's right (Bruce Miles or cubs.com) concerning whether Blanco is already on the 60-day DL. If cubs.com is right and he's only on the 15-day then it would make sense to transfer him to the 60-day to create a 40-man roster spot. If he's already on the 60-day someone would need to be DFA'd.

I don't like them when they are against the Cubs, especially pitchers.

Yep; I worded it wrong. However, that doesn't seem likely to me. If he were already on the 60-day DL and the 40-man roster was only at 39 there would have been no need to deroster Dopirak when Patterson was called up.

How surprised are we gonna be REALLY REALLY or so so. like Koyie being DFA'd

 

pretty doubtful that Koyie will be DFA'd unless Soto is on his way up as well. I'm guessing Epatt is on his way down, and maybe a trade has been worked out for Ohman. Either that or Gallagher is once again getting bounced back to Iowa.
