I don't condone the "no moves made at the deadline" action by Hendry and the Cubs - I reallllly wanted Griffey... but at the same time, Soriano's (& now ARam?) injury couldn't be predicted.

Does that mean we should have lost all of the last 3, of course not, but at the same time... we did very well for a few days following the non-waiver deadline.

The luck just went south.

does anyone else have the problem where you try to load the game on mlb.tv and get a message saying you need to have an upgrade (which oh by the way i paid for in may)

Why do you need to have an upgrade to watch the game? MLB.tv is a joke. I'm glad I stopped paying for that crap.

Nice quick inning for Z. He didn't look very sharp though. Let's hope next inning is better.

The offense was bad with Soriano and Rammy.

Wait, why are the Cubs going to hit, Z hasn't walked a bunch of guys yet. Is that not required in the first inning of his starts anymore?

Z knows he needs to conserve his PC so he can go 12 IP tonight.

Nothing to do with luck, this team was never that good they rode some clutch hitting and suprisingly good SP. Now we are seeing the real cubs of 2007, alot of guys played above themselves for a while see fontenot-Derosa even jock strap has hit. This is a .500 ballclub at best.
