This is one of Hill's best recent outings, no? Definitely more efficient.

Welcome to the good side.

Don't give him so much credit. He's still a Cardinal fan.

One would like to think we won't be shut out by Wandy Rodriguez.

One would definitely think, yea. One would definitely think that a team would have done so by now, after having so many at-bats with RISP.

Even though we've looked terrible, I really can't imagine we'll strand Theriot in scoring position again.

Alright, if we strand another runner on third I'm gonna go out on a short limb and say this isn't our day.

Speaking of this topic, does anyone know what the league average success rate is for scoring a runner on third with less than two outs? What about our success rate?

go to hell, rich hill...can't even throw a shut out and drive in the game winning run!

2 outs and the bases loaded, what is it going to hurt for him to take a shot?

you don't think he tried? what are you saying?

meh, for being a fan of Hill, which I am, I sure find myself supporting the other side of the Hill argument too much.

I'm sure he wanted to do something positive there, it's just frustrating to see him not swing the bat and K on 3 straight pitches. It sucked and these game threads are going to overreact over it.

I'm a fan of Hill, but I'm not going to defend him without fault and call out anyone that says bad things about him here.

I'm done with the topic of Hill batting.

I'm curious to see how Hill would pitch more pissed at the batters than himself.

Obviously, he has been good overall but not as sharp as he was early on.

It seems like he beats himself up too much and loses that edge.
