All the talk of Lee's drought, ARam hasn't hit a homer in a while either. Since the Brewers game, right? About a month? Closing in on 60 AB's or so.

Rammy isn't coming off a major wrist injury. There's no reason to think it's anything but a fluke. He's come just short a couple times.

not to mention ARam is still hammering the ball all over the field.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong. Lee was hitting .340 but people were making a deal about no HR. Especially on this board. Just making a comparison. I think Aram has been hitting phenominally. I was solely noting his lack of the long ball.

And between his last homer and now, there's been RFK, ASB and several wind blowing in games. He's still getting clutch hits so I can live without the power for now.

I refuse to be a hypocrite. I hated Jacque Jones, I still do, no matter how "clutch" he seems to be.

he still has a horrible OBP, and he still is a goof in the field.

I'm with you, but a Pagan-Jones platoon might be our best "win now" option.

Tomy23 because Suppan hasn't been hit well lately and I just see him having an off night tonight. He isn't that good of a pitcher and I see Lowry getting a quaility start. And Part of it is that I don't want to see them win haha

Seriously, Aramis deserves an MVP look if he keeps this up and the Cubs compete for the playoffs. Without him, we are absolutely nowhere.

And Marquis, finish this inning, and we'll get you the W. :)

We're screwed.

wrong.

lol

you sure showed him

Greatest argument of all time. I find myself, even as a mod, unable to resist it's lure.

*Feeling defeated, EJ crawls back into his hole*

I was just messin around. Geez people. Not formulating strong debate arguments.

getting a little ahead of ourselves, but has Lou said how he'll use Demp? I'm not a Dempster hater, but I'd rather not throw him out there right away with 1 run in the 9th (that is of course if everything stays the same).

If Marquis gets through the seventh unscathed, I'd rather turn this one over to the bullpen.

I say leave him in till he gives up a baserunner.
