Great call bringing in Ohman, Lou.

Your post is a moronic idiot.

Right when he brought Ohman in I said "Oh no, not Will Ohman." I think he should have left Wuertz in and thought that before Ohman served up the longball.

And Ohman struck him out. Can't blame him for the umps not calling strikes.

Butterfly effect. On the first one it was 1-1 count and the ball made it 2-1. If that first borderline pitch gets called a strike, Bonds wouldn't have taken the second borderline pitch. Ohman screwed it up. He gets the blame.

And those weren't guaranteed strikes either. The first one was close, the second one was inside.

and now an outside fastball to derosa gets called a strike... what a crock

Those would have been balls to Bonds.

the pitches to bonds were more strikes than those, no question. Apparently in their preferential treatment of bonds, the umps forget that there's actually a team in a playoff race here.

Ala Jordan pushing off vs the Jazz to hit the game winning shot?

There's no doubt in my mind that MJ got all the favorable calls. It was a push off but in that case MJ was pretty slick about it and the refs weren't in the best position to see the infraction. Plus, the NBA has an unwritten rule about swallowing their whistles in the final seconds of big games...

Those pitches to Bonds were blatantly in the strike zone and the ump didn't call them. His strikezone is a postage stamp!

Steve McMichael better have speaks with that umpire..unless the 1st base ump tosses him again.

Pat Hughes just said Young has been doing a very good job calling balls and strikes?!?!?!??!?!

Gameday must be whacked today. On the Feliz AB, when he hit the ball it said "no out"

Then he was out.

I wonder if that strikezone is off too. They've got another clear strike marked as a ball on the the Lewis AB

And that's why we don't trust Gameday to tell us what are balls and strikes.

Gameday is always messed up, but both of those pitches to Bonds were at the very least borderline, the second one being a pretty clear strike.

Man, I hope Marmol's arm can take this.

The man is going to need 2-3 days off after this series.

We could use a day off as a baseball team too. Playing straight through the weekend, Monday off, but then 2 more weeks straight through.

The second one was a worse pitch. The first one was closer to being a strike.

Marquis, Hill & Marshall going the AZ series. Don't think he'll get much time off.

All right, all right, I get it. Bonds got a bunch of strikes -- who cares so long as the Cubs win?

but now bonds is going to be on sportscenter!

The good thing at Marmol is that they haven't been pitching him on back to back days. He hasn't pitched on two consecutive days since June 26th-27th. So that's leaving his arm somewhat fresh even though he's typically throwing between 1 and 2 innings each times out.

HAHAHA!!! The Giants broadcast just showed a woman in the stands with a Dodgers hat on. Krukow told her to take a hike and crossed her face out on the screen.

Thankfully, I haven't watched SportsCenter in years! :D

He didn't pitch yesterday and will have at least monday off and wont pitch in all the AZ games so I think he will be ok.
