Pat just quoted some numbers from a start of his not too long ago against AZ - 7IP, 3H, 0R, 0BB, 12K. Apparently he at least has the potential to be a stud.

 

His starts seem to either be really good or really bad. When his control is on look out. If it's off, he can be really wild and a patient team will take advantage like Milwaukee did a few weeks back.

So what you're saying is, either way the Cubs are screwed.

They have the potential to be very good down the road. If it is true that they're going to ditch the retirement home mentality and focus on youth, then I think they're headed in the right direction.

I dunno about that, but I will say I think we threw it into the outfield on that play more than anyone in the league last year.
