White Sox fans are sounding like us last year. Maybe its because I've never experienced it, but I cant see myself getting that pissed off just two years after a championship.

I don't get that either. Especially when it was the first championship in 80+ years or whatever it was. If the Cubs win a title, I think I'd be good for at least a decade. 8-)

20-10? Cue the "haha Bears and Vikings are playing" jokes by ESPN. Right on cue.

The White Sox only failed to score in 2 innings…

Scored 2 or more in 4 different innings…and STILL LOST BY 6 RUNS….

20-14 was the final score….

That my friends is hard to do…I'd venture a guess its maybe the first time in MLB History? If not….I bet it hasn't happened more than a handful of times.

Fred...any insight on this feat?

I recall 2 or 3 games like this when the CUBS were on the losing end to the Phillies.

Yeah, there was one in the late 70's that Schmidt would have played in.... but there were also 1 or 2 games that pre-dated Schmidt's career.

20-14?? What is this, football? Who scored the touchdowns?

That joke has already been made, and it wasn't funny either time.

I didn't read the entire thread. As to whether or not it was funny, that is a matter of opinion.

That doesn't surprise me. Do you ever read, or do you just go around posting thousands of messages everyday?
