Marquis, swallow the suck down for at least one game. Thanks.

um....what?

Marquis' suckiness is equivalent to him vomiting his crappy pitching all over the field, so I'm asking him to keep it down this time.

D'uh.

Not to get too premature, but this should be an easy series win (if not sweep). However, lets just get this one under our belts first. Go Cubs Go.

You do realize the Rockies have a better record then the Cubs.

Yes. I stand by what I said. This is a team we should take 2 out of 3 from, if not sweep.

During today's (Sunday's) post-game interview, Lee sounded like it would be a few weeks before his appeal is heard, so there is zero chance he misses this series (or the Brewers)

yes, the cubs should do that if they're a good team, which they're not.

Shweet. Now if he can just promise to not have too many games like Sunday's...

I have a bad feeling about this game.

Why? It's basically in the loss column already, so anything better than that and I'll be happy.

Yeah, if we win tomorrow I'll be happily surprised.

Yeah it took just over a month for Matt Capps to have his appeal go through so I think Lee has 2 or 3 weeks till he hears anything.

Greetings once again from beautiful Augusta, GA !!

Are you delivering there or just stopping over? Where in town are you? I hope it doesn't smell TOO much like Augusta right now.

Oh yea, and I love how, right as Z steps up to be our losing streak stopper, Marquis' magic dust wears off and he is now our bona fide winning streak stopper.

PLEASE don't suck tomorrow Marquis.

Busted my tail to get here Saturday night..... only to find out that I can't deliver this damned load until this morning !!! I had visions of dropping this trailer and getting another and being 1500 miles from here by now. Oh well.

Found a motel up by the intersection of I-20 & I-520; used to be a Howard Johnson, but now an Indian gentleman owns it. It's clean, has truck parking, free wi-fi, and WGN on the cable system.... so it passes my rigorous standards.

My perfect record is still intact, though..... every time I come to Augusta, you're not here !!!
