By the way, on the WGN telecast, Len and Bob are much calmer, immediately point out the obstruction as it happening in real time and the replays show not only the 2nd base ump pointing out the obstruction, but the 3rd base ump as well!!!

God I love listening to the crotchety, crabby, irritated Hawkeroo when the Sox are losing!!!!! :D

Hahahahahahaha

"We've watched the replay enough times to know exactly what happened on that play"

hahahah, obviously not.

Hahaha. this is awesome

"THAT IS BS" haha.

I honestly don't understand how these two still have jobs. Even the Sox fans I know can't stand Hawk.

A good friend of mine is a die-hard Sox fan. Let it just be said that he hates Hawk more than I do.

i think hawk continues to embarass himself and the wgn family and the station should seriously take a look at barring him from calling any more games on their station.

I think the Sox were on Comcast today. The Cubs were on WGN. But you are right either way. He's embarrassing any station he is on. Yelling "That's BS!" is not exactly family programming, or unbiased announcing for that matter.

I'd like to see those two broadcast a game that has no former or present Sox or Cubs players. That way they'd have no one to bow down to, and no one to hate. I think it'd just be 3 hours of dead air.

hahaha

wow, it truly makes you respect guys like Len and Bob a whole lot more. They broke down every aspect of the play and even were funny. Hawk and DJ just made complete fools of themselves while completely disregarding the contact by Uribe.

What tools.

It is for Sox fans

Just another reason you got to like our announcers. Even Santo who is Cub all the way through will only say Oh No when something bad happens to the Cubs. He doesn't act like a child like Hawk Harrelson does.

Wow......what's surprising to me (or maybe not) is that neither of these guys even CONSIDERED that there may have been an obstruction call. Neither of them even said that word at any point.

I hope they both are forced to listen to their broadcast with supervisors and then listen to Len and Bob's call, where they immediately noted the obstruction before it was even called.

"If he gets in a rundown and is tagged, his behind is OUT!"

"That's immaterial! That's absolutely immaterial!"

"There wadn't a dead ball."

"This is absolutely BS."

"Dadgum right this game is gonna be played under protest!"

"He's made two outs this inning, yet there's only two outs on the board!"

Man, Hawk is such an idiot. How does this redneck idiot have a job calling major league baseball games? Seriously, do his bosses really think that he's good at his job?

My favorite is how they both just got calm and casually claimed that this game was an easy "overturn" for the league. No problems.

I hope they aren't holding their breath for that to happen.

Considering the Sox weren't even allowed to lodge a protest, I don't think so either.

I didn't watch the youtube video, but saw it when it was happening this afternoon. It was great because after the commercial break the game comes back on and Hawk mentions that he was informed about the obstruction.

How was he informed of it?

He went and asked Bob Brenly.

Amazing! I've never heard of a broadcaster going to the other team's booth to find out what's happening or atleast I've never heard a broadcaster admit to it on the air.

Don't these guys have producers in the ear piece telling them what the heck is going on?

Terrible production of the play! No replay until really late and it started with the tag on Pagan.

Really bad!!!!

How did Hawk not know that Pagan was obstructed? The WGN announcers figured that out right away. After all, Hawk criticized the umps for not being able to see the whole field like he can.
