I personally think the other is the right choice. if they are really looking to crack down on beanballing, bring instant discipline to the first wrong. smack the puppy on the nose when he makes a poop on the rug, not after you pick it up and get some on your hands.

Barrett's not a good defensive catcher by any means, but I don't think I've ever seen a staff that misses his spot by five feet on a regular basis like this one has.
