Pie K's on an outside pitch. This game is a mockery right now.

It was full foot off the plate.

Worst.

Ump.

Ever.

i sifted through all the hyperbole but didn't actually read what Barrett's "[expletive]" play was. Can someone fill me in?

Tried to go home while Fontenot beat out a DP ball and got caught in a rundown between third and home

Wasn't that 3rd strike on Pie outside also? The strike zone is HUGE.

don't worry. he'll get it shrunk down. I predict right now as a matter of fact.

We need to hit someone. Now. And if the ump kicks someone out, file a grievance. This dude belongs in the minors.

took too big of a turn around third and got caught in a rundown for the third out. shoulda had runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs, but he sh*t the bed on the basepath again

He should have taken the opportunity to deliver a forearm to the freaking ump. Kill two birds with one stone.

He was on second with a runner on first and Fontenot hit a grounder. They tried to turn the dp but Fontenot beat it out and Barrett rounded 3rd too far and was eventually tagged out on the rundown.

Barrett on 2nd and Jones on 1st with 1 out-Fontenot hits a ball to 2nd-he goes to 2nd for 1, Fontenot beats the throw to 1st, and Barrett tries to score. He gets only about 1/3 of the way down the line before they throw home and get him caught in a rundown to end the inning.

That's just cruel to the Minor Leaguers. This guy shouldn't be an ump anywhere. Majors, minors, or little league.

I think its a pretty safe bet that Lou blows his top at some point tonight.

Considering that the strike zone is now from the left hand side of the plate in, I'd say that is a pretty solid bet.
