A petite stripper at the Hustler Club said A-Rod "likes the she-male, muscular type. They brought me up to the champagne room one time. I spun around once and that was it. I'm not his type."

She said A-Rod often brought his wife to the club "and she's very pretty. I'd rather dance for her any day."

A-Rod also regularly hangs out at other strip clubs in New York, such as HeadQuarters and Rick's Cabaret.

ahh..this should probably be in Rivalries....sorry....

Why? Last time I checked the Yankees weren't a rival of the Cubs...

Look at his avatar. He may have turned Red Sox fan, and the Yankees are certainly their rivals. :D

i can't stand arod his antics on the field seem childish and not that of a highly paid superstar.. i don't really care about his personal life however weird it may be he is free to do what he wants and i don't he should be scrutinized for that so long as he does not commit crimes

I'm starting to feel bad for Arod. Not that he doesn't bring some of it on himself, but the stripper was obviously trying to say he likes muscular women, and of course a NYC paper makes it seem like Arod likes the trannies. And even if he did for some reason, who cares? Does his off-the-field stuff interrupt his play on the field? Sure doesn't seem that way when you look at his numbers.

I definitely see him opting out of his contract and getting out of NYC after this year. The Cubs won't be able to afford him, so hopefully he just stays in the American League and we don't have to worry about him in the NL.

substitue "she-male, muscular type" with tall and athletic and no one would care. I would agree and like an athleticly built 5'10" 145lbs women betterthan a 5'2" 95lbs women any day. Sound like the petite stripper was disgruntled ARod didn't go for the wafe type and missed the chance to make some money.

edit: This is why I only have 57 posts, I always get beat to the punch and EJ basically covered what I was trying to say.

Probably just sour grapes from some stripper he turned down for a lap dance. Really, who would grant a stripper any credibility?

I would but only if her stage name was Eleanor Roosevelt or Indira Gandhi.

I should show Arod the "ladies" that were outside my hotel this past week.

Vance, what hotel did you stay at? I lived on Clark, just south of Belmont, in a dumpy apt for a year, and my roommates and I easily witnessed a couple of tranny brawls when walking home from the wrigleyville bars. I'm assuming you stayed somewhere near there. Always an adventure.

And now for the obligatory ... "not that there's anything wrong with that." but ... yeah. too close for viewing.

Hey! I take offense. I dated a "former" stripper one time and she was..........

nevermind you are right on with your analysis. Boy that was a fun couple months though.

I thought the same thing.

Back on topic, I live in North Jersey, so you can imagine how much I have to hear A-Rod's name everytime he does/ doesn't do something.

I was at the City Suites on the 900 block of Belmont. Nice hotel, but the freaks come out a night.

A trip to stripperville can be a fun roller coaster experience, can it not?

Yeah, that's a situation where if you look puzzled or taken aback by some of the 'evening regulars' over there and they ask you if the scene is 'too real' for you, you simply nod and say yes, then move on.

It wasn't too bad. I did enjoy being that close to all the bars. It's just when I came back to the hotel each night, I felt someone should cue "Dude Looks Like a Lady."

I try to be open minded, but I just can't handle that.
