I would like to see about 3-4 guys gone from this team in like a matter of a week. I thought they were working towards being a team of accountability.

 

Seriously, Lee, Ramirez and Theriot are the only 3 players who have shown they deserve to play every day. I really would like to see Pie play every day. They need some energy very very badly.

 

DeRosa has proven he should play every day. Theriot simply has not whatsoever. His average is down to .273, his OBP is proabbly under .340 now, and he has no power.

 

Really? I couldn't tell by the 2 plays he made today, the way he will go to the opposite field, has speed and has hit better at every level he has moved to during his professional career. Not every player on the team needs power, in particular if the guys who are supposed to have it show it. Theriot gets on base almost every day somehow. He has been "slumping" a bit lately, but he has earned the right to play.
