WOW! The benefits of having a good defensive first baseman are amazing. I'm looking at you, Randall Simon.

 

There is no man I'd rather have defending me from a giant sausage attack than Randall Simon.

It's hard to believe Hill only has 18 pitches through 2 innings.

 

not really, 4 guys have put the first pitch in play.

 

rich hill at bat versus a lefty pitcher with a nice curve... bit of a mismatch
