Hey i'm coming to visit a friend in Davis, and while he's at class on friday would love to watch the friday game at a bar while drinkin a few before the A's/Giants game. Do you know of a decent place out there to watch the game? Any help appreciated.

The only place I can think of that could be televising the Cubs-Sox games is the Davis Graduate. The website is http://www.davisgrad.com and they should have a phone number on there if you want to call and find out if they are showing it.

Very much appreciated, i kinda forgot the game will be at 1120 out there so maybe i shouldn't drink that early but i'll definately wanna find somewhere to watch that and thursday's game. Do you guys get WGN on cable out there?

My guesses:

Ward at 1B

Theriot at SS

Fontenot at 2B in the 8-hole

Soriano batting 3rd

Well, you got two of them right. You're batting .500.

Why does Lou continue to bat Floyd second? He's a power hitter with a low OBP that is much better suited for the 5 or 6 hole. Also, I thought Lee was coming back today? :?

Bruce said Lee needed a couple of days.

Well, I agree with you 100%, but it's not like there are a lot of great #2 hitter options in that bunch.

Yeah, I was going to say Barrett, but then I rememered he grounds out to 3B on the first pitch 70% of the time.

it must be nice to be a Mets fan and have the same lineup every day

It must be nice to have those players to have the same lineup every day.

According to Bruce (in the transactions thread), Cherry got optioned to Iowa to make room for Fontenot-apparently DeRosa didn't need to go on the DL after all.

Lou said he was available for pitch hitting duties tonight if he was in a pinch.

I'd like to see either DeRosa or Murton in the 2 hole....that's all.

I'd rather see Murton. Just Murton.

can you guys imagine the devastation john maine will unleash against this lineup tonight?

bah. 18 k's, 1 walk. cubs score one on back to back doubles by soriano and ramirez.

mets score 5 in the first three innings against z, who settles down afterwards, but has thrown too many pitches and is pulled by the 6th.
