Bad neck.

 

He's been pretty bad over the past 8 games. With his wrist issue, this neck thing, his lack of power all year and cold streak, it couldn't hurt to let him sit. Even if that means I have to see Floyd at 1st base tonight.

this probably does present the best scenario to put Floyd at 1B for a game. Lee is banged up and Floyd has good numbers against the opposing pitcher, despite him being a lefty.

He did say that he didnt want to do a game at Wrigley. This is Shea, obviously.

 

Just to throw in there, I havent heard him analyze on the Cubs everytime I see him on BBTN. He just shuts up and lets the other guys do the talking.
