This has to be the only time in History that we signed a former Cardinal that is actually playing better with us.

Gary Gaetti showed such promise at first too...

The Rat! One of the greatest nicknames ever!

I thought Mickey Morandini was the rat. He looked like one to me anyway.

Jack Wilson could be another candidate for "The Rat"

It's actually kinda refreshing to have some starters in the rotation that don't have such high expectations and can pitch 8-9 innings once in awhile because their PCs arent in the 90s by the 4th inning

ok Demp had to get 4 outs, Yeah I'm definitely keeping him out of here, especially with a 3 run lead.

Yeah - his HR in the 1998 playoff vs the Giants was one of the few truly memorable moments in Cub history.

Little known fact: Gaetti hit a home run in his first ML at bat. He was sporting quite the pornstache back then too:

PC is 101? Send him out and let him finish it or let Wuertz take care of it? I put in Wuertz simply for the fact that Marquis has a history of being crap in the 2nd half. Less wear and tear now may help out later.

105 pitches... ehhh, undecided here.

I'd let him keep going. He's not some young buck who hasn't been exposed to many major league innings. He's expendable in the long run. I'd see if he can finish the 9th pretty quickly, but maybe get somebody warm just in case.
