Did you see the ball roll past Murton? He misplayed that ball so badly. On that play, they booed Murton. And rightfully so, it was a terrible play. But now, they are just booing the Cubs in general. Miller is horrendous.

I don't think you can assume that ball would've been caught. Even then, it would've been fortunate that he gave up a line drive that was scalded right to an outfielder.

When you give up line drives, you're lucky if a defender is right there to make the catch. Miller doesn't have anything to complain about. He sucked.

I'm not watching the game, so maybe you're right. But I like to think that Cubs fans are a little smarter than to boo a guy that is playing a position for the 2nd time in his life for making a fielding mistake. But maybe I'm wrong.
