It'll be the last game I see for a week. At the moment, I feel like the Cubs will still have three wins when I next see them.

At what point does Rich Hill become the ace of the team? He's outpitched Zambrano for awhile now. If you want to be sketchy, since late June 2006.

In who's eyes?

In your eyes. In my eyes the ace is the pitcher Im most confident in from start to start and right now it's hands-down Rich Hill and has been since September. And Im not being negative on Big Z. Im not worried about his start, Rich Hill's just turned into Ben Sheets with his BB rate. What's it now? about 60:10 the last few months?

I think most of us have been convinced. I was pissed that he didn't start today so that Z could stay close to his normal rest. He's been one of the more dominant starters in the league for about a half season, and a strong finish to 07 will cement him as being a legit #1. It's too bad those who count don't quite see it the same way.

Didn't the Cubs push Hill back to tomorrow so Z could stay on normal rest? His last start before today was the 7th, so he was on his normal 4 days rest.

I like Rich Hill, but let's not get too carried away here. To suggest that he's better than Zambrano is pretty bold, considering that he's had less than half of a season of success.

Hill owns the Reds.

apparently not as much as arroyo owns the cubs, heh

Glendon Rusch is no longer pitching, so the Reds can no longer rely on Arroyo's guaranteed HRs.
