God, I wish Prior was even remotely close to healthy just so we could trade Z before he completely implodes.

He is healthy. This is the Mark Prior minus steroids.

The pen gave up no earned runs today!

Wait a second...

So what happened to Aramis' hand? He had two days off, what's the deal?

He was bit by a rabid dog. His hand will fall off in 3 days. Book it.

$136M man continues to look very ordinary.

The only positive with Sori is that even when he is sucking, he already has 5 doubles in 9 games.

At some point they were going to go 3-6 during the season. it just sucks big fat ones its at the start of the season.

So, when will the eternal optimists be trotting out the Astros and Marlins comparisons for teams that sucked hard early in the season, but rallied back?

It's now one of my official signs of summer, by the way. It's right up there with the solstice.

come on now, they aren't even 2 weeks into 162 game season.

Seriously. It's frustrating, but they could easily take the last two games of the series and be right back to 5-6. It's not great, but 2 straight wins would be a nice start.

The signs are there that this team is going to be a lot like the 05 and 06 teams. We're 0-3 at home against the likes of the Astros and Reds. How can anyone be optimistic about that? 3-6 overall and all 9 of those games have been against NL Central teams. Yeah, we're really going to go far if we can't beat the crappy opponents in our crappy division.

All the crap already has run together.

Lou is doing his press conference right now, and it sounds like he's choking on his bile.

LOU IS PISSED AT ZAMBRANO AND OHMAN

WOW!

"I CAN SEE SOME OF THE WAYS THIS TEAM HAS LOST BALLGAMES. I'VE GOT TO CORRECT IT, OBVIOUSLY"

I only caught part of that, but he said something about bringing in a reliever who's throwing 30-40 foot curveballs.

He tells it like it is, that's for sure.
