only the cubs would take two good middle of the order down hitters and bat them 1-2. well, not only the cubs but it still sucks. we have great 3 and 4 hitters - why can't we find someone to get on base for them?

Jesus Christ is pitching more important than I've ever remembered it being. I looked at the player rankings after week one, and my bats stack up with anyones.... too bad my pitchers were complete crap last week. Hope this one is better.. I seem to do well vs Raw historically, at 7-2...

i'm ok with that trade regardless, as beckett continued to suck last year and soriano was awesome. the move i may be regretting is keeping soriano over vlad.

To activate Owings I had to drop somebody, since my major league roster was full, and it was Heilman that I dropped. That in turn left the RP position empty, so I moved Guzman into that position.
