It's a little ridiculous to talk about small sample size here. What are we supposed to do, give Stanford 100 games to get into the second round before determining they were a bad selection.

Why is it ridiculous? People are jumping to conclusions based on one game. Do you say a baseball hitter sucks because he goes 0-4 with 4 K's one day? Of course not. He had one bad day just like Stanford is having one bad game.

I didn't think Stanford should be in before today. I'm pretty sure everyone else who thinks that Stanford shouldn't be in also believed that before they played Louisville.

Dear Selection Comittee,

Nice pick, going with Stanford and all.

Sincerely,

Syracuse, Air Force, Drexel, Iowa.....

Hooray for small sample size and making a judgment on one game.

if you don't think any of the teams I listed would have given Louisville a better game today you're the biggest homer ever

Wait, people are complaining about Stanford at 18-12 and you want Iowa at 17-14? Brilliant.

forget Iowa. Syracuse certainly should be in there over Stanford

Stanford was the last team in, but it really sucks that they have to play an away game against a 6 seed.

And if Davidson wins I'm ready and willing to declare Mizzou among the top 31 teams in the country(go go transitive property).

Arkansas was the last team in. The selection committee said NC State simply would've taken their spot if they won the ACC tournament.

Best wins:

Arkansas: Southern Illinois, Vanderbilt, WVU

Illinois: Indiana (2), Michigan St., Missouri,

Stanford: UCLA, Oregon, Washington State, USC, Virginia, Texas Tech

This is pretty hard to argue with. Stanford didn't play well today, obviously, but those are some great, great wins. Beating good teams is the easiest way into the tournament.

Agreed. But I also agree that Iowa would have given Louisville a much better game.

It's hard to tell-Iowa didn't give Purdue a very good game at all.

Yes, I have-and I saw Iowa do almost the same thing against an inferior Purdue team in the last game they played-what's to say they wouldn't do that again against a better Louisville team?

CBS is really starting to piss me off. They aren't switching over to the Texas Tech-BC or Maryland-Davidson games even though the Stanford-Louisville game is over.

that's exceptionally bad

That's one thing you can count on CBS for: unbelievably dumb coverage choices and decisions to switch or not switch to other games. They really do a poor job.

Try having Mega March Madness and they switched to the not even close final seconds of the Tech-BC game while the the MD-UD game is still within 3 points. I didn't pay $69 for that!

have people been able to open 2 MMOD windows?? if so, how

Once I got 1 all the way into the video player, I then opened a new window and then proceeded into the waiting room from that window. You can't have two different windows in the waiting room at the same time.

Then they switch over to the BC-TT game for about 10 seconds when BC was up 7 and the game was all but over.

Now they've finally gone to the Maryland-Davidson game with just 1:12 left.

Their coverage better improve when there isn't a local team playing.

I can't even get one window to work without it being choppy.

Mine kept blacking out until I right clicked, clicked on options, and then turned my video acceleration down to half-it works great now.

Of course, your system might not be fast enough either for it to run well.

I missed seeing the Bryce Drew shot live (I'm IN Indiana) because they had to stay on the Kentucky game...when they were up 25 points or so. I'm still not over that.
