There likely won't be any thunderstorms or heavy rain but light showers should continue off and on in the game.

It may turn out that the wind will be more of a factor than the rain, eh?

I always thought it would, but right now it's not too bad either (9 mph from the north at Opa Locka right now).

Earlier they were talking 15 mph with gusts to 20. That could put a real hitch in Peyton's getalong, no?

I think it will hinder the bears passing offense more then the colts. The bears like to go for the long ball alot more then the Colts. The colts like to go over the middle to their TE alot and I dont think the wind will have as much effect on that as the long ball.

Yeah - I actually saw the forecast with gusts up to 25 mph.

Hopefully it will. The Bears can run the ball all day if they want to. The Colts must pass the ball successfully to win.

I don't think it will have much effect, but I certainly hope it hurts Peyton.

I was in Miami this AM and it was already raining down there. According to the news out there there's a really good chance this will be the first Super Bowl played in the rain.

No it won't. The Bears are a team that runs it to throw it, while the Colts are a team that throws it to run it. So, the weather will affect the Colts moreso then the Bears. The Bears have no problem with running the ball all game, considering that is their strength.

At this point, it's all but guaranteed there will be some rain during the game. There are some light showers at the stadium.

Well, may it hurt the Colts and not the Bears. That is all ;)

I think this will be an advantage to us. Let's hope so :)

Mike Brown (:() about to be interviewed on WBBM.

Would the Bears be the "huge underdogs" (I don't see the Bears as underdogs, but  ), if Tommie Harris and Mike Brown was healthy for the game.

I vaguely remember a game back in the early 60's when the BEARS invaded Baltimore to play these same Colts and their number 1 quarterback, Johhny Unitas. As near as I recall, the BEARS won that one about 57-0. Are there any old-timers out there that remember that one, or am I just getting old and senile ??
