Two things: Madden football simulated the the game and said that the Saints win 17-14. ESPN also said that the Saints were the most balanced team left. I don't agree with that because the Bears were at the top couple in points scored and allowed. Second, Soldier Field has heating coils below the turf so the snow won't stick on it right?

haha Madden, the latest game was so ridicouls in the way the offense could do all these magical plays.

Im not sure if the field has heating coils or not but having a wet turf wont help Reggie Bush either

A couple questions.. which Madden? What difficulty? Were Harris and Mike Brown playing? Did you set the weather right?

07, All Pro, I had brown and Harris because i played it before the season started. the weather was normal.

For some reason, the team that is 5-4 in its last 9 games, 2-2 in its last 4, is considered by ESPN to be the team that is playing the best of late. I don't get it myself.

It's a bit ridiculous to even count the Panthers game against the Saints. In all of my calculations on the Bears, I leave out your loss to Green Bay. We played our starters on both sides of the ball for only one series during that game.

Second, the Saints ARE a hot team, aside from the oddity that was the Redskins game. That game was an anomaly that shouldn't have occurred, just like the Bears nearly getting beat by Tampa Bay. Last week the Saints did beat the truly hottest team in the country, the Eagles. A few weeks before they beat the playoff-bound Cowboys by 25 points and beat the playoff Giants by 23 points.

Our last 3 victories were against teams that were better than your last 3 teams you beat.

Eagles > Seahawks = Margin of victory even.

Giants > Lions = Saints - 23 pts. Bears - 5 pts

Cowboys > Vikings = Saints - 25 pts. Bears - 3 pts

but the bears are stumbling and inconsistent and rex is drunk during the games, so comparing yourself to them only proves that youre not the worst team in the league.

Big difference between the Skins and Tampa Game, the Bears Won, the Saints lost.

The giants suck and didnt deserve to be in the playoffs and the cowboys defense really hit the skids the last month of the season, even more so than the bears

if the Saints are a hot team, the Bears are even hotter reguardless of what every [expletive] outside of John Clayton says at the [expletive] sports broadcasting network

Why would wins and losses matter? Lets all marvel at the Saints. They are on fire. I mean they have won 6 of their last 11 games counting the playoff win. What an amazing streak they are on.

well listening to ESPN you would think the bears were 3-7 over their last 11 instead of 7-3

I would hope whoever said the Bears are 7-3 in their last "11" would be fired on the spot.

What they did in that game you left out is simply too unspeakable to mention in polite company. And it was played in another dimension.

Indeed.

No way an 8-3 team over the same span can be nearly as hot as the 6-5 team. The Saints are so hot the field temperature at Soilder Field will be 90 degrees on Sunday just because they are standing there. I hope we don't get shutout.

Peanut is on the radio and really playing up the no respect attitute.

He basically said, "We have the best record in the league, everyone thinks we're going to get killed, people say we are the worst 14-3 team ever, we won't get any respect if we don't win. But I'd rather show you then tell you."

I don't see any way the Bears will even take the field. Surely they will forfeit the game rather than face off against such a godly team.

The Saints are NOT a hot team. In fact they are more inconsistant, then the Bears, who anaylsts claim are "inconsistant." After the first 2 months of the seasons, the Saints were a .500 team (I believe something like 5-5). The Saints haven't had a WR (Bush is classified as a RB) grabbed 100 yrds, since Week 12, and the only two times that they had a players have 100 yrds, it was Reggie Bush. Colston has disappear, Horn is injury, Henderson is widely inconsistant. Brees hasn't been as hot over the 5 games as he was earlier in the yr. In fact, if it was for Bush and McCallister, the Saints may not have made the playoffs and/or beat the Eagles. The Saints are pretty much a 2 man offense...Bush and McCallister. And these analyst who says "the Saints are going to win", or "are the best team in the playoffs", or "the hottest team" are going to get burn. Even without Harris and Brown, the Saints still haven't faced a defense as athelthic as the Bears (maybe the Panthers, who they DID lose to).

If the Saints are "hot", then I want the Bears to be "cold."

In your last 3 games, excluding Packers, you barely beat 2 crappy teams and one mediocre team that just barely snuck past the Cowboys because Romo messed up. You beat the 29th ranked Bucs offense by just 3 points and beat the 22nd ranked offense by 5 points. Then you beat the 19th ranked offense by 3 points. If you barely outscored those teams, you really think you are going to do soooo much better against the No.1 ranked offense in the NFL?

Yes, our last real loss was to the bad Redskins by 6 points, but we held them to 16 total points, and they are ranked 13th in the league offensively.

youre a funny guy

the last 2 games against besides the packers were meaningless yet they still won.

You couldnt beat ANY top 10 defenses all year at home or on the road

You barely won against Philly and it was more luck than anything

You held the Skins to 16 TOTAL OMG points and STILL lost. The thing about 13th in the league, well you gave up 35 to the 17th ranked offense also.

thats like me saying the bears held the patriots to 17 points the 11th ranked offense and the 9th ranked offense to ZERO in the first game of the season

Do you even look at stats, or do you just make up things?

Brees hasn't been as hot over the 5 games as he was earlier in the yr.

His QB rating during the second half was 101. During the first half it was 92. During the second half he threw for less interceptions and has only thrown one in his last 7 games, and has thrown for more yards than in the first half.

The Saints haven't had a WR (Bush is classified as a RB) grabbed 100 yrds, since Week 12

What a completely pointless stat to throw out there. Besides, the reason for that is because Drew Brees utilizes so many players in the passing game.

Since week 12:

- Against the 49ers 7 different receivers

- Cowboys: 10 different receivers (5 with 20+yds)

- Giants: 6 different receivers (3 with 20+)

- Atlanta: 8 different receivers (5 with 20+)

- Washington: 6 different receivers (5 with 20+)

- Philadelphia: 8 different receivers (7 with 20+)

Colston has disappear

Do some research. Colston was injured and has not played in 4 of our last 7 games.

Honest to christ, are you a kid? Are you 12 years old? Or maybe you are just a callous adult douchebag who can't spell and has crappy grammar.

You people need to stop with the Katrina stuff. What next, are you going to diss the World Trade Center victims because "people should know not to work on the top floors of skyscrapers because it's hard to escape if something happens"
