there should be a rule that if you don't gain yards on a play in the last 4 minutes, the clock stops.

No there shouldn't.

After all that jockeying for the wild card spots, not a single one of them advances to the next round.

Neither of them really deserved to either.

Not sure if the Chiefs should have deserved that last WC spot in the AFC, after seeing their performance on Saturday.

The Chiefs got dominated by the Colts, even though the scoreboard didn't show it, the statistics does. The scoreboard would have been worse had Peyton not been tossing INT's.

I am hoping that Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards do the right thing and turn in their resigniation.

Farewell Tiki Barber. You are indeed a legend.

Is Curtis Marin also a legend?

Who?

Oops. Curtis Martin.

Tiki and Martin are nearly similar players.

Martin finished as the 4th all-time rusher, but only averaged 4.0 a carry in 11 years. Tiki finished 17th or so, in 10 years, but had 3 years wasted as a 3rd down back and has averaged 4.7 yards in his career. Tiki is/was a much better back. Tiki's last 5 years are on par with any 5 year span from any RB in history, outside of Barry Sanders and perhaps Edgerrin James first 4.

refs do a horrible job there. hopefully runyan gets a knee in groin sometime this game.

to be fair, Runyan did go to Michigan, so he's been the beneficiary of favorable referee work for most of his football career.

How did the Chiefs not deserve it? They were 9-7 while Tennessee, Denver, Cincy, Pittsburgh, etc. were 8-8. It's not like they got voted into the playoffs...

Technically, Denver was 9-7. While Denver had the better conference record (Denver went 8-4 in the AFC, while KC went 5-7!), because they are in the same division even though it's for a wildcard spot division tiebreakers go first, and KC won with a 4-2 record against the division while Denver was 3-3.

The Chiefs were dominated? The Defense gave their team every opportunity to win, practically on a silver platter, and stubborn playcalling and poor performance by the passing game completely wiped out their chance.

They looked fairly competitive to me.
