Its because of him they are where they are. I'm not saying he's Peyton Manning or 24/7 ESPN worthy, but how far would they have gone with Bledsoe. I hope they remember that and welcome him back next year.

I would LOVE for the Bears to win, but the AFC is just too strong. I wouldn't have said that in week 5 or 6, but nothing I have seen is past month or two leads me to believe anything different.

 

I am not going to go all Salisbury and say any of the AFC teams would win, but if it's the Chargers or Ravens, I can't see them losing to any of the NFC teams. As a Bears fan, the most I can hope for is that the Patriots or Colts make it.

From listening (I was in the car)I'd say he sounded like he was close to tears for the end of his interview.

Not that I'd say you could make a comment like that until he fails to come back next season.

My thoughts on the Dallas/Seattle game:

 

1. Any team that allows Jerramy Stevens to score 2 TDs and 77 yards, deserves to lose. He's not a good football player.

 

2. Roy Williams keeps going to the Pro Bowl despite the fact that he can't cover and he's only an average run stopper for a SS.

 

3. Any coach that throws a quick out in the endzone, and any receiver who fumbles a ball in his own endzone, deserves to be on the losing team.

 

4. Tony Romo is lucky he is Tony Romo. Had his name been Rex Grossman, he may have been Bartmaned out of the country by now.

 

5. Tony Romo is gonna get the blame, but the team already suffered a Jason Witten after a 3rd and 13 pickup to move into Seattle territory, a Terry Glenn fumble causing a safety, and had blown 3 drives starting outside their own 40.

I feel pretty bad for Romo. That was tough.

 

Both teams look pretty bad though. I hope the Bears play the Seahawks. Though playing against Eli could be pretty fun too. Things look good for the Bears actually winning a playoff game.

I know Romo screwed up the game and screwed up what should have been an easy hold, but (and I'm not being ESPN here) he did make a really nice heads up play to quickly regroup and run for the end zone. A lot of QBs in that situation would panic and start their run too late or worse yet try to find a receiver. He almost made it too!

 

That said, pretty crappy job there Romo.
