Ayenbadejo is wearing the sweetest San Fran Giants hat I have ever seen. Anybody know if there are Cubs hats like it anywhere?

What's it look like?

It was a white New Era with the Seams in black, and the SF outline in white and black. Pretty sweet looking hat.

best bet would be http://www.lids.com they have a huge selection of New Era

Well that poll didn't say much for the average ESPN's viewers' IQ level.

Turnovers (+1 for the Bears - and that one coming at a very non-consequential time) won the "deciding game factor" poll. Devin Hester only received 7.7 percent of the votes.

I thought that's what people guessed BEFORE the game.

I think I might have to stop reading your posts for a while Raisin because of that sig-I think I have nightmares of Jones-Drew running all over the place when I try to close my eyes, and seeing him with my eyes open doesn't help:(. Oh well, at least it is happening to what seems like a very quality individual-I'm just worried about him being on that team who likes to take a great deal of cheap shots.

Haha, Jack Del Rio - a former USC Trojan - had to wear UCLA attire today because he lost a bet with MoJoDrew in regards to the USC-UCLA game last weekend. :)

Maurice is definitely a quality individuals. Great guy.

What a sweet, sweet game.

The Bears just proved why they are SO dangerous. If they don't get you on offense, they'll pin you deep, force a turnover, or run a punt back for a TD.

This is a PERFECT game for Rexy, exactly what I wanted and expected. No turnovers, a variation in pass length and time, two TDs, and no stupid decisions.

Devin Hester is....I don't even have any words. A force of nature maybe?

The ONLY downside was that the defense was sloppy tonight, but with Todd Johnson, Mike Brown, Nathan Vasher, and Tommie Harris out, I guess it's gonna be weaker. Also, they were on the field for a LONG time because of Hester's punt returns. You could tell they were winded at the end.

Tillman really isn't very good.

He has been outstanding this season.

That drive should have ended, but [expletive] rules kept it alive.

I disagree. I'm very underwhelmed by his play -- his tackling in particular. Look, you're in the end zone. Bulger is flushed. You need to be looking for the ball, not just staring at the receiver.

Tillman has been VERY good this year. He is also a great tackler. Not sure what you are talking about here.

What was the difference between the hit of Harris, which drew a personal foul ,and the hit on Grossman (on the play that was reviewed and deemed to be a forward pass)?

I was wrong about this game.

Well---what I thought would happen, happened but only in the first half.

After that, I completely underestimated that Rex would continue to make great check-downs, that Turner would call a very, very good game (SCREEN PASSES!!!!! :D :D ) and of course that Devin Hester would just take the Rams over his knee and spank them like a group of schoolgirls 8-)

People are making a big deal over the Rams scoring 27 points. The last touchdown was against a prevent, and they racked up alot of yards just throwing short passes while our defenders were simply playing "no big plays." But yea, the defense looked predictably less effective. You can't lose 2 pro bowlers in one week and suffer no effects.

"The story of the game is Devin Hester," Smith said. "It's time we start looking at him as an offensive player.

Hrm....

Does he view him as a player who can play with the offense, or just as a scoring threat on special teams, therefore, like an offensive player. I'd think that would be a nice wrinkle to throw at the opposition with the playoffs coming.

I don't get why the Bears haven't run more plays to utilize the teams speed and agility. I mean they have to an extent, but what seems to work best to maximize the ability of these speed guys are slant routes and screens. I mean I'm not suggesting going back to the John Shoop days (seriously...I'm not), but giving the Bears more room to run has never been a bad thing now that we got the right personnel.

After Shoop, I never thought I'd see the day again where Bears fans were excited about screen passes.

Greenberg on ESPN Radio:

Grossman had a good game but 1 good game in a month isn't going to get it done.

He's also said Grossman has been awful for 2 months now.

I'm so sick of this type of talk. Grossman has not had 1 good game in a month. He hasn't been awful for 2 months. He had 2 bad games in a row. He's had 4 legitimately bad games this season, with 7 good-to-great ones and 1 very solid game. The last game in the group is the first Vikings game, when, on the road, he drove the team to a winning TD late after throwing 2 picks. That's not necessarily bad, but it's not good either. It was a break even game in my book. But I'm getting sick of people continuing to ignore the NY trip, when Rex had back-to-back very good and solid games. It's absurd how little attention has been given to that trip, in comparison to the attention that has been paid to his bad games. Most of the time this year, Rex has been very good. Occasionally he's been just solid, and a few times he's sucked. Yes, that is inconsistent, but no, that is not a QB that is killing a team.

Also 4 of the last 5 games have been on the road against the best competition of the year.

That said, I know as a Bears fan, I am going to be hanging on for dear life when the playoffs start

You had to know that was going to happen though (this reaction). These guys aren't going to admit they are wrong until Grossman does something in the playoffs. That's just the way they are (see: Marriotti, Jay).

Rex did EXACTLY what everyone has been calling for last night (check downs, good reads, no turnovers, move the ball) and it's not going to matter.

I was thinking the same thing after the first kick return. His lateral speed is insane - he looks like Reggie Bush. Line the guy up in the slot or put him in motion. No safety or backer could possibly stay with him.
