A beast, I tell you. BEASTS!

I need them to lose so the Big East still has a chance but I just can't root against them!

Yeah, it should be interesting. I've seen a couple bowl projections that have Arkansas getting the automatic SEC bid and the Big East getting both Louisville and WVU in BCS games.

ETA: If you want 2 Big East teams you should also be hoping for Nevada to take down Boise State.

I want the title! I wish The Big East gets a chance to play some SEC or Big 10 teams in the bowls.

Do you think the good old boys would still give the Hogs credit if they whip up on LSU and Florida? That stupid preseason poll has really hurt them.

6-0 Arkansas, just running through the #1 defense in the country.

Extra point missed?! Hope that doesn't come back to bite them.

They had to rely on that "Wildcat formation" to do it. If they continue to rely on that it will become an issue for ARK. LSU will figure it out. That gimmicky crap won't work the whole game.

Sure, "had to rely" is a cute way to paint it in a negative light. That doesn't take the points off the board. And I seem to recall the big Jones run coming out of the standard set on the first offensive play.

This is the first time I've ever taken a look at McFadden.

He's a future #1 overall pick, isn't he?

Depending on who comes out with him. I'd say top 5 easily.

Well we shall see how that works the rest of the game won't we. Did I ever try to discredit the points they earned by ignoring that one run? Let's see how they play without continuing to use that formation.

McCoy throws a pick with just under 1:30 left. The clock ran down to around 55 seconds left due to the change of possession rule. Texas has 3 timeouts left though.

Poor IMB....that one non loss is going to kill him even more now.

They still have to beat Oklahoma State to win the Big 12 South but, assuming Texas loses, I don't think it hurt them that much. Oklahoma with one loss is still behind both Michigan and USC and would likely be behind Florida and potentially Notre Dame as well. I don't think a one loss Oklahoma team would have a chance to make the Title game because the Big 12 is so weak.

A&M still has to get a first down and we still have to beat OSU, which may be easier said than done.

Haha, they're showing the Arkansas School for the Deaf.

You know what that school's mascot is? The Leopards.

No joke.

You obviously don't get it. Being in a major conference not only gets you better matchups (just within your conference) but more television time and better bowl tie ins. All three of those factors help to get you better recruits because you have more to sell to them. The fact that Louisville just joined a major conference and is already a National Title contender is remarkable in of itself.

you don't get it. Louisville is the same team, just in a crap conference that still has a BCS tie in even though it shouldn't. the fact that they are a National Title contender is a black eye on the system, not a chip in favor of Louisville.

further, the point was more addressed to showing that the top team in the Big East is behind the 3-5 teams in the Big Ten in terms of how good the programs are, not a testament to this year.

all your glorification of Louisville's program pretty much goes down the drain when they can't beat crap teams in crap bowls. sure, they are a good team that is probably improving, but they still have a ways to go to be considered in the same breath as the second tier schools in the good conferences.

I don't know how many ways it has to be explained and demonstrated to you and Cuse. all you guys have is your opinions and seven degrees from Kevin Bacon to make your point. I guess we'll just have to wait until bowl season when all three Big East teams get thumped by lower ranked teams, at which point I'm sure you'll just come and make excuses.

Two very impressive plays for LSU...they can take the lead with the extra point here.

I can't say I've ever seen a wide receiver lay out a linebacker like that.

So the fact that the Big East has the second rated conference in the Sagarin Ratings means nothing to you?

LSU has probably one of the best wide receiver corps in the nation.

Agreed. If we beat OSU tomorrow, and then Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship, we'll be in BCS bowl, which is all we can ask for after dropping the game to Texas in October.

I'll tell you one thing, There's a big party at my apartment tomorrow, with lots of drinking involved.

I wouldn't doubt that one bit.

LSU using a lot of misdirection and screens with pretty good effectiveness.

Russell is gonna be a heck of an NFL QB.
