Tony Temple fumbles for the 10000th time this season, ruining another Mizzou drive.

Our running backs suck. Either they don't run forward or they fumble too much.

How you getting your updates Cubbies75? Right now I'm just on ESPN watching the scoreboard. You got anywhere better?

Are you back in IL? Otherwise 1120 has the game.

Yeah I'm in Illinois. Looks like its just scoreboard watching for me. Oh well, the Tigers can make this easy by just whooping ISU.

This just in, Iowa continues to suck.

Can't wait for the Drew Tate experiment to end. Christensen please.

Also, this year I'm asking Santa to get Iowa a defense.

Personally I dont see how anyone could want to see Tate go. It's been rough at times this year, but Christensen hasn't proved a thing - Tate has.

and Christensen just got picked as I typed this.

What Iowa really needs are recievers who can catch the ball not named Douglas. When your backup QB is now a starting WR at the end of the season, you know it's bad.

ND's wearing green jerseys. A "tribute" to the seniors.

Color me confused.

Heh. I've said since they lost to USC last year that they should just wear the green jerseys againts Army just to end the losing streak.

But I'm surprised as well.

And 4 passes in, Brady Quinn throws a pick. His 1st INT since the 1st quarter of Michigan State way back on Sept. 23rd. He'd been 45 more pickless attempts away from breaking Trent Dilfer's NCAA record.

Stupid green jerseys. They look really freakin sharp but they just aren't worth the hassle...

Tate is statistically worse as a 3rd year starter than he was as a 1st year starter. Sure he has a young receiving core, but Iowa has never been blessed with what I would consider good receivers. Solid at times, maybe, but the problems with this offense fall on Tate just as much as anyone.

You're right that Christensen hasn't proven anything yet. Yet being the key word. Tate's ego has stunted any growth that should have been taking place over the past couple of seasons, and it's time for him to go. This season is lost, and Christensen is the key to the team's success over the next 3 years. He needs to be given a chance.

You call Hinkle solid? I call him pretty damn good. Tate doesn't have a receiving core, he has a receiver. Chandler, Brodell, Grigsby - the three of them combined haven't done better than Douglas, a freshmen, alone.

Tate has been out there injured most of the year, with little help from his line or targets, but he hasn't said a word about it. Christensen is going to get plenty of chances to start, starting next year. This game is over, this season is over, let Tate finish the game. You don't throw the face of Iowa Football for the last 3 years under the bus so the new guy can get a couple snaps.

Amazing how fast people turned on Tate and Young this year, all they did was play oft-injured with little help, and not say a word about it. Tate barks at people on the field, but he never calls a guy out to the press - and with how pathetic some of our seniors have been, they deserve it. I suppose Ferentz needs to take a page out of the Baker handbook and blame injuries more.

Missouri starts the half with three solid drives downfield, one ruined by a turnover, then decides to take the rest of the half off. 10-7 Tigers at half.

Embarrassing. If they lose this game I might not be able to continue to cheer for this team. They better get their act together in the second half. And oh yeah, fire Christensen.

I know it.

9-3 = Great season, our 3 losses were games we all figured we'd probably lose.

8-4 = Disappointing season after our great start, but still solid.

7-5 = Utterly embarrassing.
