USC has the edge Vs Michigan in both the Harris and Coaches but are losing in the puter and the margin for the puter is enough to overcome the points in Harris and the Coaches. Michigan is barely trailing USC in both the human polls. If USC wins next week they might sway the voters that have Michigan #2 and help their points to overcome the computers. I wonder if Florida or Arkansas will amass enough points in the humans to overtake Michigan? My first impression is they wont overtake Michigan. IF USC loses next week Michigan will pick up a lot of those USC 2nd place voters.

That's a good point, and I'm starting to think that as long as USC loses a game UM will play for the title no matter what Florida or Arkansas does.

Also the teams are all young with 6 QB's that are Sophmores or less. It's only going to get better IMO so face it Big 10, SEC and Big 12...we are no longer just a basketball conference! Of course the "established leagues" voting in the coaches poll will try to keep us down.

so everybody should give credit to this year's Louisville, WV and Rutgers teams this year, because boy do some of those other teams have some good young atheletes.

where was the 'young with freshman QB' talk when you were puffing about Syracuse's win over Illinois?

The difference is these teams are in the top 15.

the Big East has 6 teams in the top 15? when you said what you did, you were defending the Big East because they are young and up and coming, which has nothing to do with how good the Big East is right now.

the three teams the Big East has in the top 15 are there because they only have one loss. they only have one loss because the rest of the conference compeltely blows.

I don't know why everyone on the board has to keep going through this. I'd ignore it if it weren't so damn pervasive, but you're omnipresent with your whining about no respect for the Big East. iirc, you started it before the season even began. people suggested earlier in the year a thread for ND only discussion. I suggest a thread for you to complain about the poor underrated Big East.

I did.

ND has no shot because they lost to Michigan. The polls would put Michigan ahead of ND for that reason. And Michigan's computer ranking is and will be higer.

I wish that logic was applied in '93.

Not sure if this has been posted, but the winning numbers in the Ohio lottery were 4-2-3-9 on Saturday night. But the lottery isn't rigged. Edited by Wilson A2000
