Forgot to post this earlier, but WBBM Radio has the radio highlights from each post-game show up on their website. The links are mixed in with other links, but when you find a highlights clip, just click the middle icon below it.

I refuse to listen to CBS' announcers, so my question is... does WBBM 780 sync up with TV as the game progresses? Is it always on delay? Or does it vary from week-to-week?

Do you know which announcing team you have? A couple of them are actually good. You're right though, with the quality of your game (because Miami is so bad) you probably got one of the lesser announcing crews, and most of them are simply horrible.

It's kind of strange and it probably depends on which network the game is on. For example, last week, the radio broadcast started out over 5 seconds ahead of the television broadcast. About 20 minutes later, though, it synced up pretty well. But sometimes it never really syncs up at all. You'll just have to see.

Dolphins 19, Bears 17.

The Dolphins throw underneath the whole game and control the tempo, exposing the weakness of the Bear defense. The running game plays terribly, with Jones on rushing for 40 yeards, and Benson rushing for 19. Grossman does what he can, but with the running game ineffective, Miami sits back and Rex presses. He throws 2 TD's, but also his 1st 2 INT's at home, including a late INT that seals the loss.

I loved Urlacher's response to a reporter telling him that many believe the key to beating the Bears is the short passing game:

"Did they beat us? No, they didn't beat us,'' Urlacher snapped. "They almost beat us but they didn't. For some reason you play four quarters in the NFL."

Well since I was only 4 pts off last week's prediction (I said 37-10; although I don't recall if I posted it in the game thread or not), I will try again this week and say...

Bears 33

Dolphins 3

And just for added fun, here's a breakdown of the 33: 3 off. TDs, 1 def. TD, 1 FG, and 1 safety. :)

He should know that that win was a one in a million thing, and that Arizona did expose the Bears in a way.

But I saw the interview last night, and it was pretty funny.

Eh. We'll see. The linebacker play was pretty darn bad in the first quarter+. It was like that at times at Minnesota, but if they had played like they should have played, I doubt Arizona would have had as much success with it.

I was wondering if we were going to see this. Did you make a similar prediction for the niners game? I don't remember seeing one.

49ers win 13-10.

Grossman has an average game, but fumbles by Hester and Benson set San Fran up for 10 of their points, and they control the 2nd half clock.

I have yet to pick the Bears. :D

Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf today.

I'm sorry for your pain. I hope Dierdorf likes the Bears, because if not you are going to want to come through the TV at him. I had to turn him down one week it was so bad. Gumbel isn't bad though.
