Did USC bring back Leinart/Bush/White to play against Arkansas and nobody noticed or something? Because with the exception of that game, USC has looked average at best.

but now they're tied. It's a clear cut case of pre-season polling affecting mid-season polling. If there were no pre-season polls, no one would have USC as #2 or #3 in the country right now.

I don't think that's true. There's no way they would be ahead of Michigan, but they still would be #3, simply by being undefeated with their strength of schedule. For now, they deserve to be there-if they get their first loss, then they can be dropped behind most of the one loss teams where they belong.

They would probably be behind WVU and maybe Texas as well. Remember, Arkansas wasn't ranked to start the year and the pollsters only remember where a team was when you beat them. SC would be #5 at best.

If USC was playing a competent team, they'd be down about 24-7 right now.

Instead, it is just 13-7.

Hahaha. Nothing like an unforced fumble.

Of course, Oregon State then goes backwards on first down once again.

16-7.

Of course, Northwestern could take down USC the way they're looking right now.

USC will play like crap the rest of the way, might even lose 1 or 2. But come the UCLA game, they'll show up, go for every 4th down and pull out every trick play (especially when already up by 40) and win by 50.

USC's running back just dropped the ball while running. Didn't get hit. Just dropped it.

That was so awesome.

So how does Oregon State screw up turnover #4?

By only getting a field goal.

It's not even that I don't like USC (because I don't care either way and am indifferent) but this is just pathetic. They had one great game (Arkansas) and one good game (Nebraska) and that's it. I really hope Cal kills them but you know once Oregon rolls into town on 11/11 that USC is going to look like a different team again for those four games (Oregon, Cal, ND, UCLA).

Yay, SIU beats Missouri State, 27-17, to improve to 6-2 on the season. Wasn't extremely impressive, but it was a win nonetheless. With Illinois State's loss to Youngstown State, SIU still has a chance of winning or at least tying for the conference this season. A win on the road against Youngstown next week would be a big boost to our playoff and conference hopes.

Oklahoma State wins the award for worst commercial pimping your school. Nothing like Garth Brooks telling you to go to OSU because "you'll have the most fun".

That is pretty sorry.

Student-But teacher homework isnt fun and Garth said i would have the most fun?

Teacher-Homework? Who said anything about homework, you think i want to waste my time grading papers? Just show up to class everyday and get your degree baby!

The Beavers need to keep the Trojans from pounding them and then going deep. Thats when the Trojans are explosive and bad things can happen to the Beavers when the Trojans explode..
