They just had a shot of some cardinals players and coaches holding what looked like a scuffed ball in the dugout

 

Ooo, this should be fun.

Yeah, only they showed that shot for 2-3 seconds and didn't comment on it or go back to it... I wonder what the deal is

and i'm sure he thought the same thing about taverez's half wool, half pine tar hat.

Now he is telling us about the materful pitching job Weaver is doing, while ignoring the guy who is beating him. unreal :roll: Why is he allowed to do Cardinals series? Would they have let Harry do the Cubs?

Beckett?

Koufax, Gibson, Ford, Johnson/Schilling, and many more I'm sure.

 

Koufax comes the closest, but none of them have had as many consecutive scoreless innings.

Yeah, Aramis has worn them before.

 

I thought ninja-Aramis looked unspeakably awesome, but his ninja-batting was unspeakably awful.

Don't forget Beckett struggled early on in Game 1 of the NLCS (4 runs in the first inning, 2 more in the 6th, gave up 2 HRs). No way Beckett in 2003 can compare to Kenny Rogers this October with an outing like that on his resume.
