Joseph Addai looks really good.

Yeah, Addai has looked really, really good all season long. Even before today, he has had a 4.6 yard average on 59 carries. The Colts continue to go with the tandem to try to limit his carries so hopefully he will be fresh for the playoffs-at least I hope they give him the full-time job here in a few weeks, because he's clearly better than Rhodes.

I need Addai to not score a TD today though for fantasy reasons.

The Vikings seal up the win. 31-13 with 8 minutes to go.

Anyone worried about the division? If they can beat NE next week in the dome, they can breeze to a 13-3 or 12-4 record

I don't normally post my picks on here, but I just want to say that I think Oakland wins this week.

Just call me the "Shwamm"

EDIT: This inevitably means my picks will be a mess next week.

They have 2 losses right now. I see them losing to NE, Chicago and STL, with possible losses against Arizona and the Jets. So anywhere from 11-5 to 9-7 if you ask me.

You're not the only one.

Arizona (-3) at Oakland. Yes, Oakland will win. And they will win today.

Not a bad week for me against the spread.

Stated that I wanted to pick a push of the (-3) line to Cincy over Carolina, and it was a push. Picked the Jets, Pats, Bucs, Raiders, Colts, Vikes, and Packers. If I count right, that makes me 7-4-1 for the week, by far my best.

Don't know why any Bears fans would be worried about the division right now. 2 games up, with a road win over the Vikings.

I am a natural pessimist. Remember when the Vikings started out 6-0 a few years ago and then didn't make the playoffs?

I'm 7-4-1 this week and it's not even my best week of the last 2.

BTW, I'm almost rooting for a Colts/Bears Super Bowl because it might just result in Ball State being burned to the ground (about 60 percent here are Colts fans, about 25 percent Bears fans and the remaining 15 percent other).

Giving up on the Panthers already?

As the resident Vikings fan on this board (are there any others?) don't be worried about the division. We're looking good and our schedule looks nice after next week, but we have a 2 game hole and that Bears schedule is just too nice. Like someone else said we're between a 9-11 win team and the Bears won't fall back to that.

Now had we simply not fumbled a handoff in the last minutes of the Bears game and if the Cardinals don't completely melt down Monday night, you would have reason for worry.

Not yet, but if they can't win games even when Dan Henning actually opens up the passing game for once, there's going to be a problem. Carolina really needs to win their next two at least against Dallas and Tampa at home.

I think the best the Panthers can hope for is the WC. They have a shot at that, but I think Atlanta and New Orleans are better at this point.

Honestly, I think Carolina is the best team of the bunch, but they have a way of underperforming (see 2005). I'm more worried about them playing to their abilities than about either the Falcons or Saints.

Well, right now the Saints have a two game lead on them and the Falcons one. The Saints are better than anyone has given them credit for. They have a dangerous offense, a QB that doesn't make a lot of mistakes, and a coach that helps them stay disciplined and mistake free. The defense is the question mark, but if they can stay close, their offense gives them a chance to win.

I wouldn't sell them short by any means.

The Saints are good, no doubt about it. But if Carolina hadn't blown the Minnesota game and today's game with stupid turnovers, they'd be 6-1 and leading the division. Nothing's more maddening than trying to maintain title hopes for a team that has a tendency to make dumb mistakes like that.

I was 13-1 SU in Week 5. 5-7 pending tomorrows game this week...:(

Easily my worst week of the season. My first week under .500

Of course, you could also say that had Grossman not thrown those interceptions, those games wouldn't have even been in question and the better team just managed to win despite themselves in both cases. I'm just sayin.

You're "just sayin" what? So basically throw out every mistake the Bears make while accepting the mistakes the opponents make? That's insane.

For crying out loud, have the slightest bit of objectivity and give credit to the other teams while acknowledging that the Bears aren't invincible. Why would you just take out Grossman's interceptions? Where's the logic in that? That's practically like saying "take away the interceptions that Bret Favre threw last year and they're in the playoffs."

It's not like he threw balls that should have been caught but were tipped in the air and intercepted. The Vikings and Cardinals forced those turnovers and they were forced because Grossman hurries things and makes bad decisions and throws when he's getting pressured.

The Vikings/Bears game was tight throughout and was an evenly played game, even without the interceptions. You also seem to forget that the Vikings dropped two interceptions that hit them in the hands, one of which would have been a touchdown.

The Cardinals dominated that game Monday Night and had a collapse of monumental proportions.

I give the Bears credit for finding a way to win both games. The discussion was about the division and I said it wasn't a race right now. The reason I mentioned those situations is because one was a very rare play and the other was an incredible collapse. That's not the same as playing the "what-if" game with 8 turnovers in two games.

The Vikings have caught some breaks and won close games that they could have easily lost. It's okay to admit.

Don't you love how every team ESPN tries to crown as the "best in football" suddenly looks bad?

I think 2 things:

1) Lovie should ban ESPN watching. It's bad for your career, just from the flood of hyperbole and illogic alone.

2) I'm damn glad we escaped our "crowning" with a win @ Arizona. This week, the Chargers weren't so lucky. And before that, the Bengals went on a losing tear following their coronation that they still haven't really recovered from.
