darn, we lost to bucknell 48-45. One of our guys had an open look at a three in the final seconds and it rimmed out. Still, we hold the tiebreaker over them, so if we win out, we still have home court advantage through the patriot league tourney.

I want to apologize right now for whatever the IU crowd does today-it will probably be ridiculous and silly, and I apologize for that (so everybody knows I'm not really defending it-it may not be wrong, but it will certainly be silly-I'm hoping what happens is not as big as the buildup right now).

 

Second-my area is receiving UCLA-WVU instead of Indiana-Illinois today. That is crazy to me, because out of those 4 programs Indiana and Illinois are the closest two to my location and neither UCLA or WVU is in one of the two conferences that this region usually covers. Oh well-Raisin, I'm rooting for a UCLA blowout so they'll switch games.

Second-my area is receiving UCLA-WVU instead of Indiana-Illinois today. That is crazy to me, because out of those 4 programs Indiana and Illinois are the closest two to my location and neither UCLA or WVU is in one of the two conferences that this region usually covers. Oh well-Raisin, I'm rooting for a UCLA blowout so they'll switch games.

 

That sucks. I'm in Milwaukee, right in the heart of Big Ten country, and I am not getting the IU-Illinois game until halftime. They are showing some freaking Seton Hall game at 11 and will join IU-ILL in progress at 1pm. Freaking idiotic.

 

I don't think our students will be any more idiotoc than they were. What I heard was that there will be a "Sampson-out" where the students wear blue shirts and red ties.

 

I'm feeling pretty good about this game though. IU has had a week off after a bad loss, IU tends to shoot the 3-ball well at home, and they will be looking to get some revenge for the loss last month. I'll talk the Hoosiers by about a dozen today.

 

Illini or Chicago people, what radio station are the Illini on in Chicago? I might as well listen to the first half on the radio, since Milwaukee CBS is the devil. Thanks!

That sucks for you, kinda surprised to see you not get the local game. I'll be stunned if UCLA blows out WVU.

Don't even joke. I'm thinking about driving down to some sports bar in Kenosha so I can see the first half. I hate Milwaukee, thank goodness I'm out of here soon.

I can't believe I am saying this but I actually want Illinois to beat the Cheating crybaby.

 

If they win and Iowa pulls off the HUGE upset, Iowa is in 3rd place. If Illinois wins and Iowa loses, Iowa has a shot at them the last week of the season anyways.

 

My basketball hatred of Illinois has been far exceed by the Cheating crybaby.

i'm in fondy and i'm pretty sure i'm getting the game.

 

the only way to set the world back on it's feet would be to beat the hoosiers in bloomington. that would be sweet.

You would think advertisements would want to sell things-showing NCAA highlights that are painful for one half of the fans watching the game might not be the best (I'm watching UCLA/WVU, and they showed the highlight of Princeton beating UCLA as an ad!)

I really thought Kentucky fans whined and made excuses a lot, but since this EJ thing, Illinois fans are definitely giving them a run for their money.

Oh yeah Pruitt really got a fair shake in this game. Even those whinning national announcers agreed saying Illinois was getting the stick.

I'm not one to cheer injuries. But Ed Hightower tore a meniscus, and because of it is not reffing the UW/Iowa game. Anybody know how long a torn meniscus would keep a guy on the shelf?
