Are there any Illini fans who would like to see someone grow some today and take it right to Greg Oden? I'm thinking if you keep taking to Oden he'll eventually get into foul trouble.

 

Are you my 7th grade basketball coach? Anytime we faced a big shot blocker we were told everything goes to the basket. It worked more than it failed, and to this day I tell my girls to drive on the bigs and see what they can do.

Apparently not if you are at Ohio State, you can't :D. I actually didn't get to see the IU-OSU game the other night, I just heard a great deal of complaining about the foul disparity (OSU shot 35 FT's, IU shot 11). While Oden did get into foul trouble in the second half, apparently there were 2 or 3 obvious fouls in the first half he got away with (not post battles either where they could call it anytime, but hitting a guy's arm while taking a shot for example). Again though, I'm not complaining about it, and am not even sure it's true because I didn't see it.

 

Anyway, I see now the game is at Illinois. Good luck.

 

Oden will get all the calls for the rest of his playing career.....so everyone should just get used to it.

UCLA down 40-30 at the half. They got it down to 4 numerous times and then Oregon finished the half fantastically. Awful game.

Holy smokes. UCLA hits a 3 to tie, then Oregon comes down and hits a 2 with about 13 seconds left. UCLA ball following a timeout.

 

ETA: I would love to see Collison or Afflalo take a three for the victory.

That's Big Ten refs for ya. Illinois just played a horrible game. Their perimeter D was just horrid and offensively they continue to stuggle. I wasn't really impressed with Oden today, but that's also because Pruitt did a pretty decent job against him. I was VERY impressed with OSU's guards, they really get streaky from 3 pt land. The Wisconsin-OSU matchup in Madison on tuesday will be awesome.

 

Badgers about to take on Minny, should be a good game for the Badgers.
